Bio:

Artist Bio: Sherre Wichmann Sherre’s art uses a mix of color, form, and composition to set a mood, express a feeling, and tell a story. She uses the medium of charcoal, oil, acrylic, or watercolor to best express the a subject. Sherre is currently attending the Kansas City Art Institute for a Find Arts Certificate. As well as attending KCAI, she has taken art courses from Penn Valley Community College, Nelson-Atkins Art Gallery, and workshops with Eric Wiegardt, Creig Lueck, and Ed Fenendael. She has been a student of Tom Matt, Gail Flores, Lacey Lewis, and Susan Lynn. Sherre has had a long career in the information technology field, having retired as the Director of IT for Vance Brothers, Inc. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Missouri in Anthropology.
