Bio:

The love of horses is in my DNA. I’ve been creating their image, the as far back as I can remember, in many different styles and mediums Artists Robert Vaughn and Philomene Bennett have helped me hone my skills. Retiring from TV news in 2013 has given me more time to create. The equine image is my main subject with an occasional landscape or still life. My studio is located in the historic Live Stock Exchange building in the West Bottoms. It’s a wonderful and appropriate place paint horses and other livestock! I have also added a new medium, clay. Horses evolved from wild and free spirited ancestors and I find it difficult to capture all that energy in one style of art. My goal is to portray both the uniqueness of each horse, as well as the universal equine spirit.
