In
the 1980s, our Gallery location at 3013 Main Street was known as the
Union Hill Art Gallery. As the owner of Union Hill Art, Martha Clay
McDermitt Wood created a safe haven for artists who wanted to share
their work. She reserved an indiscriminative approach that expressed
all walks of life.
Martha's
love for art is still evident in the walls that are perfectly primed to
hold an array of creativity. With that rich history, Jon & Wendy
McGraw, the owners of the building today, wanted to keep alive this
great tradition and thus opened the door to the Buttonwood Art Space in
2005.
