Bio:
Kelly Johnson is a painter residing in beautiful Kansas City. She has a B.S. in Illustration from John Brown University. The primary focus of her work is watercolor painting, with an emphasis on flowing, natural forms and subjects. Her aim is to uplift and inspire others while herself enjoying the therapeutic and meditative nature of her work. She believes that living with chronic physical and mental illness has helped shape her work, and that painting has been saving her life since childhood. She lives in midtown with her partner and son, enjoying all the inspiration that Kansas City has to offer.
