We have heard your requests and starting in 2008 Buttonwood Art Space will begin holding more group and theme exhibits! 

 

For Artists interested in showing at the Buttonwood Art Space, we have bundled detailed information along with an Artist application and have it available by clicking HERE. 

 

We prefer to show and promote local artists, but will consider artists from out of town who have a following in Kansas City!

 

There are several zones within the Art Space that are utilized as display depending on the number of pieces to be shown.

 

Buttonwood Art Space can accommodate up to 100 framed pieces of art!

 
Details for our Next Show: May-Aug 2008

Modern Photography exhibit – “An Urban Photo Essay” (Photo images of city and rural landscapes)

  • Applications, digital pictures of your work, image list with prices, and a brief biography should be submitted by April 1. (Send to Buttonwood)
  • Notice of acceptance will come from Jamie Lavin, by phone or e-mail by April 27
  • The delivery date for your art to be delivered to Buttonwood will be Saturday May 31 (10a – 2p).
  • Opening will be Friday, June 6 (5p – 8p) and Saturday, June 7 (10a – 3p)
  • The show will close on Saturday July 26 so you can pick up any unsold art on July 26 (10a – 2p)

 

And the show after that: Aug-Oct 2008

The Landscape Show – “Landscapes of All Mediums”

  • Applications, digital pictures of your work, image list with prices, and a brief biography should be submitted by June 16. (Send to Buttonwood)

  • Notice of acceptance will come from Jamie Lavin, by phone or e-mail by June 29.

  • The delivery date for your art to be delivered to Buttonwood will be Saturday July 26 (10a – 2p).

  • Opening will be August 1st and Saturday, August 2 (10a – 3p)

  • The show will close on Saturday October 25 so you can pick up any unsold art on October 25 (10a – 2p)
