I have been drawing since childhood.  My base art has always been black and white.  We moved to Florida for a few years and one can't help but appreciate the constant of color so I started painting.  I showed in a Gallery in Ft. Myers, FL for several months before moving back to Kansas.  I usually have something showing in the 1109 Gallery in Lawrence, KS (associated with the Lawrence Art Guild).  I have not been able to stay within one genre; I love it all!  Therefore, you will see black and white with a great deal of detail, or you will see brilliant colors in an abstract, or just plain colorful fun pieces.  I don't usually limit myself to canvas.  My husband says if it stays still long enough, Paula will paint it!
