ABOUT THE ARTIST

Her commissioned portraits and landscapes have been featured in Ingram’s Magazine, The Business Journal.  “Although Bony’s portraits are realistic, they have a bright, colorful aspect… she approaches her work with slice of life freshness.”  Christi Roberts Bony is an artist who delivers what the client seeks:  beauty, lasting value and enrichment of their personal environment.  She has stated that the joy on the faces when the client receives the finished art brings great satisfaction.

Christi Roberts Bony studied art at the Kansas City Art Institute and the University of Missouri.  She received her BA in Advertising/Communications from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.  In addition to living abroad for five years while studying with artists in Paris, France; Athens, Greece; London, England; Madrid, Spain and Rome, Italy; she continues to expand her art with various seminars and workshops.

Her studio paintings have been shown in international and national juried shows across the country and abroad and are owned by corporate and private collectors in Tucson, Arizona, Destin, Florida, Washington DC, San Mateo, California, Sonoma, California, New York, New York, San Antonio, Texas, Madison, Wisconsin, Lafayette, Louisiana, Portland, Oregon, Escalante, Utah and Raleigh, North Carolina.  She works in a wide range of media including oil, pastel, watercolor and sculptured one of a kind jewelry pieces.   Her surface design functional art pieces are purchased by exclusive resorts, boutiques and collectors.  They range from home products, pet collars, and table art.
