Crystal is a Kansas City area  photographer who has been taking photographs since she got her first Instamatic camera at age 13.  She has attended numerous photography classes, seminars and workshops given by local and nationally known photographers.   Crystal likes to shoot many different subjects.   She feels that photographs are very personal and keeps variety in her work to appeal to a wider audience.   Her work can be seen at various galleries, exhibits, festivals and coffee shops in the Kansas City area.

I think of my photography as a “Journey”; one that I have been on for some time now.   A “journey” that records forever a split second of time.  It’s a litany of people that have crossed my path; places I have been;  an assortment of animals, objects or landscapes that have caught my attention.  It’s always something that I feel is worthy of a second look; something I feel needs to be shared with others.  When I photograph something, I do it for myself.  But the real satisfaction is when someone buys one of my photographs and wants to come along on my “Journey”.
