I was born with an artist’s heart.  I work in glass and mixed media.   You will find much of my work filled with color, contrast and texture with dualities in function and design.  I have been an art collector for 29 years.   When you bring an artist’s work into your home, you bring with it some of the artist’s creative energy.  I have original artwork in every room in my home.  Living with art makes everyday more joyful.   I utilize original art in serving every meal, hosting every gathering.  When you choose to spend your money on original work that means something to you; there is no greater gift you can give to yourself and the artist you supported.
I am a proud Kansas native, with a BS in Bus. Admin from Emporia State University.  I am the mother of three awesome young men and I enjoy living and creating in Parkville, Missouri.  I am a member of the Kansas City Artist’s  Coalition, Winner Road Gallery and the Kansas City Clay Guild.  I am also a founding member/musician with the Parkville Symphonic Band for the past 17 years.     Art and music are my passions.
